I’m a writer and coach based in London and the Campsie Fells just outside Glasgow.
I have written in most forms – performance poetry, short stories, drama, stand-up, novels and, most recently, flash fiction, and have won prizes in all of them. You can read some of my work on the Stories page.
I’m also Editor in Charge at The Propelling Pencil, an online flash fiction journal, born out of our original charity flash fiction competition. I read for other competitions and in 2022 judged the prestigious Mslexia flash competition.
I’m a serial writing student, Graduate of the Faber Academy, Jericho Writers’ Self-Editing course and more Arvon courses than I can recall. Currently, I’m focusing on a novel which is my true – yet unrequited – love.
